Hi! I'm Greta Rogers, owner of Greta Elise Music LLC.
Experienced pianist trained in classical and contemporary styles
My journey:
I fell in love with the piano at the age of six. 25 years and one music degree later (Bachelors of Music, 2016, Liberty University), I'm still learning and loving the gift of music!
Having grown up in Johnston County, I have a deep appreciation for our NC communities and the lovely people who inhabit them (that means you!).
Your wedding day:
Live music can bring a beauty and presence to your wedding that is difficult to match with recorded music. When you hire a live musician, you can rest assured that your ceremony music can't be ruined by a spotty internet connection or an ill-timed ad. I aim to be flexible and adaptable in the moment, helping your wedding to run smoothly so you can focus on the important stuff: marrying your favorite person!
What about new music?
Some wedding musicians charge extra to learn new songs, but I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution for your wedding, so I'm always eager to learn some new things that are meaningful to you -- all included in the base price. While I certainly have plenty of suggestions and can play in almost any genre*, you are encouraged to let me know the songs you want to hear, and I can learn them in whatever style you wish.
*okay, maybe not rap
ABOUT ME

Step 1:
Get In Touch
Send me an e-mail (listed on the Contact page) or Instagram message, and let me know a few details about your wedding or event: date, theme, and what you're looking for generally.
How It Works
Step 2:
Initial Meeting
If my schedule and other circumstances will align with your event goals, then we can set up a time to meet, either
1) at a public location such as a coffee shop or
2) via Zoom or Facebook video chat.
We can discuss the music that you want for the event and the more specific details, pricing, and time commitments.
To ensure a smooth performance, I will need to know your final music selections by at least 1 month before the date of the wedding/event. (Payment is also due at that time. I don't do deposits -- just one straightforward payment, cash or personal check.)

Step 3:
Enjoy your wedding!
On the big day, I will arrive, set up my equipment, and create a fun and memorable atmosphere for you and your guests.
MUSIC SAMPLES
Here are just a few examples of the styles in which I can play, but please know that I can learn pretty much anything you want -- from video game soundtracks to K-Pop to country. It's your day; let's let it reflect your personality!
The following were recorded on my Roland FP-30 digital piano. As a former music major, I'm very happy with the sound quality (my webcam microphone truly doesn't do it justice!). Depending on your venue, I would either play the piano at the venue, if there is one, or bring this digital piano along with my speaker system.
Note for outdoor weddings: I will need access to an electrical outlet, as the keyboard does not take batteries (I will provide my own extension cord, if needed).
PRICING
Ceremony (incl. 20 minutes of prelude music): $300
Cocktail Hour Background Music: $150
Reception Dinner Music: $150
Reception Dance Music (Swing or English Country Dance): $250 for 2 45-minute sets

Note: I'm ready to learn whatever new songs you wish, and that's all included in the price.
However, if you really want me to play, like, the entire soundtrack of The Sound of Music or something, then I will need to know that considerably sooner than the normal 4-week deadline.
(I mean, I'll do it, but I'll just need some more time to prepare. lol)
